The short version
- By using the website or our Discord bots, you agree to these terms, the privacy policy and the Site-47 rulebook in Discord.
- Be honest in tickets, appeals and applications, and do not try to break or abuse our systems.
- Staff can punish, blacklist or remove access when the rules are broken.
- Site-47 is a free community project. We do our best, but we cannot promise that everything always works.
Who we are
Site-47 is a Roblox SCP roleplay community. "We" means the Site-47 team that runs the website at site-47.net and the Site-47 Discord bots. "Our services" means the website, the bots and the in-game systems connected to them. Site-47 is not made by, endorsed by or connected to Discord, Roblox or the SCP Foundation wiki.
Your account
- You sign in with your Discord account. You must follow the Discord Terms of Service and, in game, the Roblox Terms of Use, including their age requirements.
- You are responsible for what happens with your account. Do not share it, and do not use someone else's account to send tickets, appeals or applications.
- Using alternate accounts to get around a punishment or blacklist is not allowed and can lead to a longer punishment.
Using our services
You must not:
- try to get into parts of the website, the console or the bots that you are not allowed to use,
- attack, overload, scan or scrape the website or the bots, or try to get around rate limits and blocks,
- send spam, fake reports, fake evidence or many tickets about the same thing,
- harass, threaten or impersonate other members or staff,
- use our services for anything illegal or anything that breaks the rulebook.
If you find a security problem, tell us privately in a ticket instead of using it.
What you send us
- Tickets, appeals, applications, evidence and feedback must be truthful. Only send images and videos you are allowed to share.
- You keep the rights to what you send. You allow us to store it, show it to staff and use it to handle your request and moderate the community, as described in the privacy policy.
- Evidence and transcripts can be kept after a ticket is closed so staff can handle appeals and repeat offences.
Moderation
- Staff decide on punishments based on the rulebook. Punishments can apply in the Discord servers and in game.
- Some blacklists are shown on the public blacklist.
- If you think a punishment was wrong, you can appeal it through the website or the Appeals & Reports server. The appeal team's decision is final.
- Our automated message checks only flag possible rule breaks. A staff member always makes the decision.
Staff access
Staff who use the console must keep what they see there private, use it only for their staff work and protect their account with two-factor authentication when asked. Access ends when someone leaves the staff team, and misuse can lead to removal and a punishment.
Availability
We run Site-47 in our free time. We may change, pause or remove features, the website or the bots at any time, and things may sometimes be offline or not work as expected. We can stop giving anyone access to our services if they break these terms or the rulebook.
Liability
Our services are provided "as is", without any promise that they will always be available, correct or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss caused by using or not being able to use them. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms when the website or bots change. The date at the top shows when they were last changed, and important changes are announced in Discord. If you keep using our services after a change, you accept the new terms.
